Naja Stereo Widener
$29.00
Overview
Multiband stereo widening plugin with four independent frequency bands.
Compatible with VST3 and AU formats, stereo in/out.
Includes master section, parametric EQ, Haas delay, and dry/wet mix.
Signal Flow
Stereo input → 4-band crossover splitter → per-band processing (Width, IID, ITD, Bypass).
Bands recombined → Master section → EQ → Haas delay → Dry/Wet mix → Stereo output.
Interface Layout
Vector Scope: real-time stereo visualization.
Band Strips: LO, LM, HM, HI processing columns.
Master Column: global controls, EQ, utilities.
Theme Toggle: light/dark mode.
Crossover Section
Three sliders define LO, LM, HM, HI bands.
XO1: 20 Hz–2,000 Hz (default 250 Hz).
XO2: 200 Hz–8,000 Hz (default 2,500 Hz).
XO3: 2,000 Hz–20,000 Hz (default 8,000 Hz).
Band Processing
Width: 0.0–2.0 (mono to exaggerated stereo).
IID: −12 dB to +12 dB (left/right gain difference).
ITD (Delay): 0–15 ms (arrival-time difference).
Bypass: toggle per band.
Master Controls
Preset Box: load/save presets.
Mono ↔ Stereo toggle.
Master Gain: −24 dB to +24 dB.
Master Width: 0.0–2.0 global multiplier.
Centre Channel: −24 dB to +24 dB with toggle.
Dry/Wet mix with toggle.
Parametric EQ
5 bands (80 Hz, 250 Hz, 1 kHz, 4 kHz, 12 kHz defaults).
Controls: Gain (±12 dB), Frequency, Q (0.1–10.0).
Additional Features
Phase Invert per band.
Haas Delay: 0–15 ms global delay.
Preset management with file-based system.
UI controls: click/drag, double-click reset, right-click value entry.
Best Practices
Set crossovers first to match source.
Keep LO band narrow or unity.
Use IID sparingly (±3 dB typical).
Combine ITD and Width for depth.
Monitor Vector Scope for phase issues.
Check mixes in mono regularly.
Use Dry/Wet for parallel widening.
Apply EQ after widening.
Specifications
Formats: VST3 / AU.
Stereo in/out, minimal latency.
Supports all standard sample rates.
Full parameter automation.
Preset format: .naja files.
